Ross Sutherland Rugby Club is home to a vibrant mix of teams - from our thriving youth squads to our committed senior sides and ever‑growing women’s and social rugby groups. What truly defines us is the spirit behind the strip: a welcoming, hard‑working community where players of all ages and abilities are encouraged, supported, and given space to grow. Whether someone is taking their first steps onto the pitch or chasing new challenges in competitive rugby, they’ll find a place here - a rural community club with big ambition, built on teamwork, pride, and a genuine love for the game.

Our Minis and Micros teams offer a fun, welcoming introduction to rugby for children from nursery age (4 years old) up to Primary 7 (12 years old). Our Micros group - nursery to Primary 3 - train from 10:00 to 11:00am, focusing on play, confidence, and early skills. Our Minis -Primary 4 to Primary 7 - train from 10:00 to 11:30am, building teamwork, technique, and a love for the game. It’s a lively, supportive environment where young players grow, make friends, and enjoy being part of the Ross Sutherland rugby family.

Youth Boys

Our Youth Boys squad brings together players aged 13 to 18, offering a supportive, competitive pathway as they grow in strength, skill, and confidence. Training takes place every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, where the focus is on developing game understanding, teamwork, and a strong work ethic - all within the welcoming, community‑driven environment that defines Ross Sutherland. It’s a brilliant space for young players to challenge themselves, make lasting friendships, and take pride in being part of the club’s future.

Our Youth Girls squad welcomes players aged 13 to 18 into a supportive, empowering environment where confidence, skills, and team spirit grow together. Training runs every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, giving players dedicated time to develop their game, build strength, and enjoy being part of a close‑knit, community‑driven team. It’s a brilliant space for young women to challenge themselves, make friends, and take pride in representing Ross Sutherland on and off the pitch.

Our Ladies Team welcomes women aged 18 and over - whether they’re seasoned players or absolute beginners looking to try something new. Training runs every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30pm, offering a supportive, energetic environment where players can build skills, fitness, and confidence at their own pace. The squad is known for its camaraderie, encouragement, and the strong Ross Sutherland spirit that makes everyone feel part of the team from day one.

Our Senior Team - the 1st XV Stags - is the heart of senior men's rugby at Ross Sutherland, bringing together committed players, proud club traditions and a strong community spirit. Training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30pm, with sessions designed to build fitness, sharpen skills, and strengthen teamwork. Beginners are very welcome, and new players quickly find their place in a squad known for its hard work and determination on and off the pitch. It’s a brilliant environment for anyone looking to challenge themselves, improve their game, and be part of a driven, supportive team.
